    The Maison Imesch was founded in 1898 by L\u00e9opold Imesch and his wife Marie de Chastonay. Their son continued the business until he passed it on to his daughter Marie-Hel\u00e8ne who then acted as president of the company for over 30 years. The maison\u2019s history was intimately linked with Martigny, the City of Sun. The sun as the city\u2019s coat of arms decorates the label of the Soleil d\u2019Or range. The domains of this enterprise are exclusively located in this region, a central part of the Rhone plain. They consist of ancient vines of which some are older than 50 years and produce a grape quality way above average.<\/p>\n

    The Maison Imesch moved in 2009. Since its foundation it had been located in the vicinity of the Sierre railway station, now it inaugurated its new vine production facility at the western end of the city.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
